Sales Representative– International Market
About the position
In the role as a Sales Representative, you are part of a team of four people in the Commercial Business Area, where the focus is on hunting and sport shooting. You develop, nurture and are responsible for our relationships with retailers, distributors and other partners for each market/country.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Sales and budget responsibility for your markets/countries.
- Responsibility for distributors, retailers and other partners within assigned regions.
- Processing potential customers.
- Responds to inquiries from customers, representatives and distributors, as well as receiving customer orders.
- Educating distributors and distributors' salespeople in Aimpoint's products.
- Arranging shooting training sessions together with Aimpoint's Training Manager.
- Participate in national and international fairs together with distributors.
- Visiting existing and potential retailers together with the distributor.
The position is located at Aimpoint's office in Malmö, working as a Sales Representative with us involves traveling and varied work with many international contacts. You will regularly visit your agents and distributors, and your role is estimated to involve approximately 100-120 travel days per year, both internationally and nationally. As you will participate in fairs and events for the civilian consumers/end users, the work also includes weekends and evenings. You will work closely with our Training Manager, Marketing, and your team colleagues. You report to Director Commercial Sales.
Our initial thought is that you will focus on the DACH region and parts of Eastern Europe as well as Oceania and Africa. However, there are good opportunities to adapt the region based on previous experience and your language skills.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who use their inner strength to progress and take decision, even when all answers are not available. Since your role will have internal and external contact points, the role requires your ability to communicate and establish relationships based on Performance From Trust. As a person, you are disciplined and organized – you understand the importance of planning and documenting your work while managing to work ad hoc when required. You are fearless but realistic, you have strong belief in yourself combined with an ability to prioritize your time on what drives the business forward.
Demand:
- Fluent in German and English, preferable Swedish, both written and spoken, other languages are highly meritorious.
- Be able to travel the required traveldays
- Driver´s licence
- To succeed and thrive in this role, we see it as essential that you have a strong interest in hunting/sport shooting.
