About the Role
As a Test Engineer, you’ll be a key player in evaluating and verifying advanced products in the fields of optics, electronics, mechanics, and environmental testing. You will not only perform thorough tests and document the results with high accuracy but also develop new test methods and innovative equipment solutions to ensure we meet industry-leading standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting tests, verifications, and analyses within optics, electronics, mechanics and environmental systems.
- Documenting findings in clear, precise technical reports in both English and Swedish.
- Developing and validating new testing methods and equipment.
- Maintaining and improving laboratory tools and instruments.
- Collaborating closely with R&D to ensure products meet stringent quality criteria.
- Exploring creative, hands-on solutions—perfect for someone who enjoys tinkering and practical hobby projects.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with a strong technical background who thrives in an innovative environment and enjoys both problem-solving and collaboration.
You bring:
- A degree in Engineering (Physics, Electrical, Mechanical, Nanotechnology, Computer Engineering) or equivalent experience.
- Experience with documentation management and report writing—particularly technical English.
- A flexible, social, and communicative approach, with an eagerness to adapt to varied tasks and challenges.
- Naturally curious about science and technology, with special interest in optics and physics.
- Creativity and a passion for hands-on work—someone who enjoys experimenting and building.
Meritorious:
- Experience with mechanical CAD software (SolidWorks)
- Programming experience (C# / Python)
- Knowledge in optics, electronics, and chemistry.
