Prototype Technician

About the Position

We are looking for a motivated and committed employee to join our workshop!

Here, you will play a key role in developing prototypes, fixtures, and production-related tools, for example, assembly and measuring fixtures, machining aids, and special tools. All work is done in close collaboration with production and engineering. The job is varied and driven by problem-solving, and it never involves mass production.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with relevant education or experience in CNC machining or toolmaking. You have solid experience with CNC machines and programming in Mastercam or similar software, as well as the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. In our workshop, we have, among other things, 3- and 5-axis milling machines, CNC lathes, and wire EDM. We also work extensively with 3D printing.

Your initial tasks will focus on CNC turning, but over time you will be able to operate more machines in the workshop, ensuring you have a varied and interesting job. Good communication skills and team spirit are essential, while you are also able to work independently and take your own initiatives. Fluency in both Swedish and English is required.

The salary range for an Prototype Technician is SEK 33,000–43,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
