PLM Support Specialist
Are you an engaged problem-solver with experience in PLM systems and an interest in technology and process development? Aimpoint is now looking for a PLM Support Specialist who wants to contribute to developing and improving our business processes through Siemens Teamcenter. At Aimpoint, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment characterized by engagement, collaboration, and quality.
About the Role
As a PLM Support Specialist, you will play a key role in implementing and enhancing PLM systems, focusing particularly on meeting our business needs. This role combines both technical and analytical tasks, giving you the opportunity to make a real difference in how organizations manage product lifecycles.
Responsibilities:
Requirement Gathering:
Understand customer needs, document requirements, and translate them into user stories.
System Implementation:
Configure Siemens Teamcenter, support projects/backlogs, and implement data/workflow structures.
System Integration:
Develop integrations with tools like MCAD, ECAD, and MS Office while ensuring data consistency.
Data Management:
Migrate structured, validated data to PLM systems and contribute to functional design.
Testing & Quality:
Perform testing to meet requirements and resolve system issues.
Training & Support:
Create user manuals, conduct training, and provide ongoing technical support.
Continuous Improvement: Implement improvements from user feedback and evaluate PLM solutions for added value.
Your Profile
You have a technical and analytical approach to work, with experience in the PLM field. We value your ability to create solutions, drive projects forward, and inspire others with your expertise.
Qualifications:
3–7 years of experience in PLM implementation, configuration, or architecture, preferably with Siemens Teamcenter.
In-depth knowledge of Teamcenter architecture and best practices.
Experience with integrations to MCAD, ECAD, and MS Office tools.
Familiarity with Siemens PLM in discrete manufacturing environments, ideally within the aerospace and defense sectors.
Personal Attributes:
Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills.
Ability to work under pressure with limited support.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to various groups, including executive levels.
Fluent in spoken and written English and Swedish.
